The Placer County Board of Supervisors has announced a donation to the Lincoln 4th of July Committee to sponsor their annual day-long celebration at McBean Park.
The event, which has become a beloved tradition in the community, features live music, food vendors, kids zone, and activities for the whole family, culminating in a spectacular fireworks show in the evening.
The donation from the Placer County Board of Supervisors will help the Lincoln 4th of July Committee cover the costs associated with organizing and hosting the event, including a an afternoon of music, a twenty minute fireworks show, securing permits, and ensuring the safety and security of attendees.
“We are grateful for the support of the Placer County Board of Supervisors, which will allow us to continue this beloved tradition and make it even better than before,” said Lincoln 4th of July Committee Chairperson, Richard Buss. “We look forward to seeing everyone at McBean Park on July 4th for a day of fun, food, and fireworks!”
The Lincoln 4th of July celebration will take place on Monday, July 4th, 2023, from 12 pm to 9 pm, with the fireworks show starting at 9:30 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
