We had a blast at our recent Bingo Night fundraiser, and thanks to an incredible turnout and some generous donors, we raised just over $12,000 for this year’s Lincoln 4th of July Celebration! Special thanks to the Lincoln Community Foundation, who kicked in $2,500 to help make this night (and the future fireworks) sparkle.
If you’re new to the area or haven’t experienced it yet, Lincoln’s 4th of July Celebration isn’t just another small-town event—it’s the biggest event in Lincoln every year. And also the most expensive. The fireworks alone? They run close to $1,000 per minute. Then add in costs for security, traffic control, porta-potties, insurance, cleanup crews, and everything else it takes to pull off a safe and spectacular celebration for the entire community.
While we’re proud of what we raised at Bingo, we’re not done yet—we still need to bring in more than $70,000 before July 4th. Every dollar helps us light up the sky and keep this cherished tradition alive.
